Every effort is made to adhere to the prices quoted in this catalogue.
With the floating exchange rate it is virtually impossible to quote exact prices
for goods not available from stock. Adjustments to prices have to be made if there
are any currency rate changes, supplier price increases etc. Our aim is hold catalogue
prices firm for 2006. As we hold stocks of most items this enable prices to be held
firm for longer. We offer a wide range of equipment beyond that listed in this catalogue
from many sources throughout the world (e.g. Philip Harris and Unilab). Send your
full list of requirements for a price quotation.
ALWAYS have our invoice number on hand when communicating about orders.
1) Prices: Subject to alteration without notice. We reserve the right
to invoice goods at prices ruling at date of despatch from warehouse. Prices listed
in this catalogue exclude GST.
2) Terms of payment: Prices are nett & due for payment on 20th
of the month following invoicing.
3) Quotations are subject to confirmation on receipt of order. We
reserve the right to amend any accidental error and/or omissions on quotations or
invoices.
4) Delivery: We cannot accept liability for non-delivery or late
delivery. Every effort is made to adhere to delivery dates. All items unavailable
at the time of placing an order will be placed on back order. They will be supplied
as they become available unless cancelled in writing prior to arrival. A ‘supply
before (state date) otherwise order cancelled’ clause can be included on order if
required.
5) Items ordered which have to be indented: Goods ordered on indent
cannot be cancelled once ordered. We cannot accept indented goods for return and
credit.
6) Responsibility: Our responsibility is limited to supply of goods
of the kind & quality ordered. We shall have no responsibility whatsoever for
any loss, damages, costs or expenses direct or indirect or consequential arising
out of the sale or contract for sale of goods supplied by or through us or the condition
or use of such goods, whether suffered by the user or any third party. Users are
advised to test and examine goods and exercise special care where the use and/or
storage of the goods involve danger to person and/or property. In the case of supply
to consumers within the definition of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 this provision
shall not apply. Catalogue and other illustrations are subject to alteration without
notice. Due to improvement and revision of design and/or change of sources, apparatus
may not conform to them in detail.
7) Freight charges: Prices quoted are ex our store. All freight costs
(and insurance charges if applicable) are chargeable to customer. A packaging charge
of $2 is added to the freight cost on all orders. Dangerous goods documentation
fees, where applicable, are also chargeable.

9) Goods for evaluation: We are prepared to forward equipment that
is in stock for evaluation for a period of one week providing packing and freight
charges are paid. It must be returned in original packing with instructions etc.
Please realise that a returned item has to be put back into stock for resale, so
please take care not to deface or damage it.
10) Damage in transit: When goods arrive damaged retain the broken
item/s together with all packaging. Be sure to keep the courier sticker attached
to the outside of the parcel. You must phone Courier Post if it is a Courier Post
courier ticket (0800 268 7437) or Courier Solutions if PBT courier ticket (0800
771 747) within seven days of receipt of the parcel. A customer services representative
will provide instructions regarding the uplifting of broken item/s, if required,
and will explain the process to be followed. At the same time you MUST also advise
us of the damage or loss. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE EXCLUDES THE POSSIBILITY
OF A CLAIM.
Note: We cannot accept responsibility for goods returned, for any
reason whatsoever, which have been inadequately packed and damaged in transit.
